CNN's Acosta Claims WH Staff Screamed in His Face and Kicked Him Out

CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta said on Twitter that when he tried to ask President Donald Trump questions in the Roosevelt Room, White House aides “shouted” in his face to “drown out” his questions. The tweet has since gone viral:

As I attempted to ask questions in Roosevelt Room of Trump, WH press aides shouted in my face to drown out my questions. I have never encountered that before.
He followed up with several other tweets:
What occurred reminded me of something I would see in a different country. Certainly not at the WH. Certainly not in the U.S. https://twitter.com/Acosta/status/953323562835890177
When I tried to follow up on this in the Oval Office, Trump told me to get "out." We then went to the Roosevelt Room where WH aides obstructed us from asking questions. https://twitter.com/Acosta/status/953316336834371586
Original video did not show Acosta, but he could be heard asking President Trump questions after members of the press had been told to leave. He asked Trump if he only wanted “Caucasian or white” people to immigrate to the United States. Trump responded with one word: “Out.”

Now, a different video angle has been released, and it tells a different story than what Acosta told his 500,000 followers. Acosta was standing behind a couch and repeatedly asked Trump questions after he was told to leave along with the other members of the press.
There were clearly no press aides shouting in his face, as he had claimed.

Another attack on the free press. Trump orders CNN's Jim Acosta to get OUT of Oval Office after asking a question.
You can even hear a press aide politely saying, “Jim, thank you.”
