If you were under the impression that President Trump would be given a fair trial from the Mueller Grand Jury than you were very mistaken. What exactly was going on in that courtroom was reported by a witness.
Reportedly, according to the New York post, the witness appeared before the grand jury and described everything that he/she saw on the jury into detail.
According to the Daily Wire : A witness who testified before a federal grand jury in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation says that President Donald Trump is not getting a “fair shake” because the jury appears to be left-leaning.
Apparently, this witness told that Page Six that in comparison to far-left groups, the statistics of the jury are firmly shaped against the president.
“The grand jury room looks like a Bernie Sanders rally,” the source revealed “Maybe they found these jurors in central casting, or at a Black Lives Matter rally in Berkeley.”
The Page six pointed out how the witness said that out of the 20 people on the jury “11 are African-Americans and two were wearing ‘peace T-shirts.’” he also claimed, “There was only one white male in the room, and he was a prosecutor.”
The witness wrapped it up by saying “That room isn’t a room where POTUS gets a fair shake.”
Many people saw Mueller’s decision to enlist a grand jury from Washington D.C. as “tactical” considering the fact that the area is overwhelmingly Democratic.
As the report from the Daily Wire states, back in August, Alan Dershowitz told the radio host Rita Cosby : “It gives the prosecutor the power to indict in the District of Columbia, which is a district that is heavily Democratic, and would have a jury pool very unfavorable to Trump and the Trump Administration,” concluding “So it gives the prosecutor a tremendous tactical advantage.”
In the 2016 election, almost 91 percent of the voters in Washington D.C voted for the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. And only 4 percent gave their vote to Donald Trump. It is estimated that Trump’s approval rating among the African-American community is only at 7 percent.
“The District of Columbia, which is always solidly Democratic and has an ethnic and racial composition that might be very unfavorable to the Trump Administration, so I see the significance not so much that he impaneled the grand jury — you have to impanel the grand jury to get subpoena power — but where he impaneled it.” Dershowitz made clear.
